Are you going to finance your new home in Charlotte?

When purchasing a home, applying for a mortgage loan is demanding for most people, but it doesn't have to be. I've got great connections to a lot of lending companies in Charlotte, and they've helped me realize a few things that can make the process of applying for a loan very easy.

1 – Put together a list of questions regarding your loan program

Make sure to have a list of questions if you find that you do not fully understand the pros and cons of the different programs. It is a challenge to understand the distinctions between both fixed and adjustable rate mortgages. I or one of my trusted lenders will help you understand the advantages and disadvantages of both.

2 – Decide when to lock

When you lock in the interest rate, it denotes that the mortgage lender guarantees the mortgage interest rates for the loan – typically at the time the loan application is submitted. By floating the rate, you can lock the rate at any time between application and closing. Buyers who prefer to float presume the interest rates will plunge in the near future. 3 – Decide if you want to pay additional points to lower your interest rate
